RECOMBINANT C-REACTIVE PROTEIN
 Company:  Lee Biosolutions, Inc.

Summary:  C-Reactive Protein is a protein found in the blood that operates as a marker for inflammation, meaning its presence indicates an increased state of inflammation in the body. Inflammation is a normal response to a number of physical states including injury, fever and infection. Inflammation is also believed to play a role in the initiation and progression of cardiovascular disease.

Recombinant C-Reactive Protein Human is produced into culture medium by DNA recombinant procedure in E. Coli as secretory protein. By expressing kil gene, the outer membrane of E. Coli becomes permeable, allowing recombinant C-Reactive Protein to be excreted without cell lysis. Recombinant C-Reactive Protein has similar biological property in terms of Ca2+-binding ability to the native protein, and is purified by affinity chromatography. N-terminal amino acid sequence of r-hCRP is the same as that of the native Human C-Reactive Protein CRP .

According to Lee Biosolutions President Burton Lee, the company pays close
attention to the clinical research community to stay ahead of their demands for acute phase proteins like C-Reactive Protein CRP . Lee Biosolution now has Canine C-Reactive Protein
, Rat C-Reactive Protein CRP , human and recombinant c-reactive protein.
